It’s a great week to be a fan girl.
The sequel Wicked: For Good is dropping in theaters Thursday, Nov. 21, and so is Tate McRae’s deluxe album, So Close To What.
And just last week, the third installment of the heist franchise, Now You See Me: Now You Don’t, hit theaters Nov. 14.
Tate McRae’s Deluxe Album

Tate McRae announcing her deluxe album this week feels personal — mainly because I saw her live in September, and it unlocked a new level of obsession. Her performances, vocals and overall confidence were unreal, so the idea of getting more songs this soon? Incredible timing.
Her deluxe release feels like a reward for anyone who’s had her on repeat since fall. The emotional tracks, the pop bangers, the soft-girl-meets-bad-girl energy — Tate knows exactly what she’s doing. And honestly? She hasn’t missed yet.

Wicked: For Good
It’s wild to think the first Wicked movie came out a whole year ago. Time flew by, and it flew fast (like Elphie).
But I’m not complaining. Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo returning to Oz is exactly the kind of cinematic event fan girls rally around. The costumes, the vocals, the world-building, the lore — it’s a full cultural moment. And seeing the saga continue just makes it feel even more magical.
Now You See Me: Now You Don’t

The Now You See Me franchise was a core memory for a lot of us: the plot twists, the magic tricks, the heists that somehow made zero sense and perfect sense at the same time.
And now, with Now You See Me: Now You Don’t releasing last week, fans finally got the long-awaited third film. The only thing left to see is whether the franchise can one-up itself again. The first movie set the standard, the second one tried to catch it — so here’s hoping chapter three pulls off a trick we actually didn’t see coming.
Either way, it’s nostalgic.
And nostalgia is the ultimate fan-girl fuel.
